  1. USE OF COOKIES IN EVIDENTVISION E-STORE

2.1 Cookies

evidentvision.ee e-shop uses so-called cookies. Cookies are information that moves from the web server of the e-store or a third party to the web browser of the user – that is, the customer – so that it can be found there later. Cookies can be small files or other means of data storage.

With the help of cookies, the information and offers in the e-shop can be matched to the customer’s needs. Cookies allow the seller to recognize visitors. The purpose of such recognition is to make it easier for the customer to use the evidentvision.ee e-shop.

evidentvision.ee uses temporary cookies. They are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include session cookies in particular. Session cookies store the so-called session ID, with which the different requests of the client’s browser are combined into a common session. In this way, the client’s computer can be recognized when he returns to the website. With the help of such cookies, evidentvision.ee can ensure the operation and functions of the website.

In addition, persistent cookies are also used. They remain on the hard drive of the client’s computer even after the session ends. Above all, these cookies help the seller to make their offers user-friendly.

Impersonal cookies do not transmit personal data to the seller. These are, for example, statistical cookies. They collect and report information anonymously, helping the seller understand how visitors act on the website.

Through advertising partners, evidentvision.ee places advertisements on other websites in order to show the customer only advertisements that are actually of interest to him. In this process, so-called third-party cookies of such advertising partners are used, which are set by evidentvision.ee during the visit and read by the corresponding advertising partner. Third-party cookies are temporary files that are stored in the client’s browser for a maximum of 540 days after the last visit to the page and then expire automatically.

The customer can view and delete cookies stored on his computer, and also configure their handling in his browser settings. More information can be obtained from the manufacturer or from the Spikker (Help) function of your web browser.

Allowing cookies is not a prerequisite for using evidentvision.ee. Most web browsers automatically enable cookies. If the customer does not want it, he can set his browser so that it informs him about cookies and allows them to be enabled in each specific case. You can also set your browser so that your computer does not save cookies, or to send a warning when a new cookie arrives. Some browsers offer, for example, the option to enable first-party cookies, but to block third-party cookies.

In addition, already enabled cookies can always be deleted using a web browser or other software program. This is possible in all major web browsers. The customer can set the general blocking of cookies in the settings of his web browser. Blocking cookies may mean that the functions of online offers are limited.
